It's Easter holiday and I can draw whatever I like this week Almost done with a few already

It's now... 3am. It has been raining since 1pm or earlier, pretty much non stop. Oh England how I love you?

I swear, a lot of the time I see pictures that are only intended to arouse. There's a definite fetish going on there, and there's zero actual artistic talent and if it were not almost porn, then no-one would bother with it.

And these typically have over 50 favourites. I'm done being jealous of favourites, it's really silly, but I have to wonder, with that many favourites, is DA a place to draw and appreciate art, or is it just a site to collect porn on now?

(I guess you could also say the same about cliquey things like emo, fanart and Japanese stuff. But to a lesser extent. Why can't people like something for it being put together well and overall being a good picture?)

I'm mostly talking about drawings, I don't look at the main page any more and I don't look at photos a lot, so I don't know about that so much!

Also I don't have anything against "sexy" drawings, even if it's not my thing. But when a really bad one with no attempt to make it artistic at all gets so many favourites, it really tells me what this place is turning into.
